This Coming of Age movie features Charlie, an appealing, damaged 15 year old starting high school in Pittsburgh in 1990. He is a bright student and good writer and is befriended by his English teacher played by Paul Rudd until he is "adopted" by two seniors, Sam and Patrick, who are stepbrother and stepsister depicted by Emma Watson and Ezra Miller. Charlie feels included and much better, but later falls into episodes of blacking out and seeing images of his dead Aunt. I am not a teenager, but thoroughly enjoyed this touching movie.
