Despite some very fine acting from Margot Robbie and Allison Janney, this docufilm is a disappointment. Made to look like a documentary and actually based on interviews with Tonya Harding, her mother, and her ex husband, we are lead through her interest in ice skating and rise to near the top of the sport. Both Robbie and Janney are nominated but it is still difficult to watch. Perhaps we do not blame Tonya Harding, yet it shard to like her.
