Chief Chick Comments

You may love this movie as may your children; however, the first half of this movie is very melancholy reflecting the innocence and simplicity of childhood. If you are a fan of Winnie the Pooh, then you must go. It has a happy ending but the journey there managed to upset me, and I did not grow up on Winnie and his friends. As usual the natural look of the Sussex countryside is wonderful. Love Ewan McGregor, and his wife and daughter are well cast. Christopher, now an executive at a luggage company is faced with cutting staff and must work instead of accompanying his famiy to the cottage in Sussex. Pooh appears in London and leads Christopher back to their childhood playground-The Hundred Acre Woods. Of course, a combo on accidents and the stuffed animals help save the day. Easily could have rated this a 4 but felt is was a little too depressing at the beginning.
