You must love this original movie based on the book and stage play starring Rosalind Russell as Auntie Mame. She is terrific and wild and hilarious. When Patrick Dennis, her brother's son, arrives after his father's death, she opens up Patrick's world. The Depression tries to stifle her spirit...unsuccesfully. I love watching it even though I also love the musical version done a decade later.
