Chief Chick Comments

This comedy/romance was a delightful surprise. The tongue-in-cheek nature of the Mob/Murder story along with satisfying if not plausible romance makes it fun to watch. Matthew Perry is a dentist whose wife and mother convinces him to move to Canada after his father-in-law and dental practice partner defrauds the enterprise and kills himself. Rosanna Arquette plays his especially nasty wife who actually realizes that he is worth more dead than alive. In the meantime he becomes friends with Jimmy, the Tulip, Dudeski who moves in next door and is actually hiding out from the Chicago Eastern European mob. When his wife suggests he go to Chicago in order to receive the reward for Jimmy's whereabouts, a lot of surprises occur including a meeting with Jimmy's estranged wife. Cannot wait to see the sequel.
