Chief Chick Comments

If you haven't seen Poor Things, you probably know that it won 4 Oscars including Best Actress for Emma Stone. Seeing the film, you will understand why. Bella is actually the body of a woman who killed herself but was found and revived by Dr Godwin however with a twist. As Bella's brain matures at a rapid rate, we see a lot of strange things. Applause for Emma Stone whom I like very much. However, this movie is just too strange for me to enjoy and it is a bit on the long side. Watching it once was ok but I will not be watching it regularly. Some will enjoy it quite a bit. But not me.

Or maybe a “5”? Such an unusual, unpredictable story!! It was somewhat challenging at times (pretty graphic sex scenes!) but I thought it was so different that I loved it. And Emma Stone was phenomenal. Sorry, Lily G.
