The plot is very similar to The Princess Diaries or even The Parent Trap. If it works, why not use it again? This time, Dad, played by Colin Firth(if Colin Firth is in a movie, it must be good!) is a UK politician who has resigned from the House of Lords to run for a seat in the House of Commons. In London, Daphne sees her Dad on TV and ultimately makes herself known to him. He is engaged (of course) but seems happy to see her although the timing is awkward. Daphne tries to tame herself down to fit the proper image for a politician who has aspirations to be the Prime Minister. But it cannot last. What about Mom, played by Kelly Preston? Surely, this time they will not be separated. Watch the movie and see
