Who else could play Walt Disney…but Tom Hanks. In fact, Emma Thompson seems the perfect Pamela Travers, writer of the Mary Poppins books. She is terrified Disney will defile her beloved Mary Poppins….as well as Mr Banks. Hmmm Of course, her own childhood plays into her fears. Thompson plays a difficult British lady very well. The trip to Disneyland's Magic Kingdom circa 1961 is enough for me. Not what you will expect, but endearing never-the-less
