Chief Chick Comments

This is a Melodrama. Bring your hankies. Laura played by Lana Turner, predictably choses her career over love with John Gavin. Annie ends up raising both girls while Laura stars in one Broadway hit after another. She splits with John Gavin, but they meet again 10 years later. Both girls can be a handful and they are now high school graduates. John Gavin/Steve reappears and there are still complications. Lana Turner, even though she is 10 years older than John Gavin( former Ambassador to Mexico for Ronald Reagan) is luminous. Her clothes are great. I would love to wear them today!
