Summer Blockbusters have arrived. In keeping with that theme, the Movie of the Week is Man of Steel. If you want to please your man, you won't hate it...you just won't love it.

Another version of the legend and story of Superman. This time a small army of Krypton invaders led by General Zod come to take over earth.

Paul Beigler, played by Jimmy Stewart, is retained by the sexy Laura Manion to defend her husband, Lt. Manion, on a murder charge in a small town.

Madeleine becomes a part time hooker in France in order to buy nice things. Later in life, we see her daughter struggling with some of the same demons.
 
   
Life As We Know It

Yes, this is a predictable but fun to watch Chick Flick. In addition Josh Duhamel is really good to look at!

Unforgiven

It won the Academy Award for Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor for Gene Hackman, and Best Director for Clint Eastwood. Not my idea of a Chick Flick, but worth watching for the very realistic feel.
