This movie is the winner of the first Academy Award for 1927. It is a silent movie and you can listen to orchestra music performed for the movie in recent years or the organ music originally played. While the movie seems very basic by today's standards, it is still worth a look to see what impressed the first group of Academy voters. Buddy Rogers was married many years to Mary Pickford perhaps the most famous actress of the silent era
