Chief Chick Comments

A Huston trifecta at the Oscars with John Huston, the son, winning best director and best screenplay and Dad, Walter, Best Supporting Actor in 1948. Gritty tale of two Americans with hard luck in Mexico when they come up some funds and decide to throw in with Howard who has found and lost gold fortunes before but knows his business. There are Mexican outlaws to deal with and grateful Mexican families who insist on hospitality especially to Howard, Walter Huston. More of a guy movie but with 3 Oscars worth a look for anyone. Is this how potential riches may change one's outlook, attitude, and behavior. See what you think!
