Chief Chick Comments

It is a mystery when Philip's uncle dies in Italy. When Philip finally meets his uncle's new wife, he finds her much different from what he has expected. While older than the 24 year old Philip, played in his first leading role by Richard Burton, Rachel played by Olivia deHavilland ( still living at 101) is never-the-less quite alluring. Set in the early 19th century, the acting is superb and the story gripping. Did Rachel poison his uncle or is she the unfair target of gossip? Enjoyed seeing these two fearsome actors!
