This is a terrific movie thriller starring Dustin Hoffman, Roy Scheider, and Laurence Olivier. Hoffman is "Babe" a PhD student at Columbia working on his dissertation. We discover his father a renowned historian committed suicide when accused of being a communist during the McCarthy Era. Babe's older brother Doc is a supposed businessman whom we first see in Paris when mayhem starts to unfold. Much later, Babe, it is believed knows whether "it is safe" for Olivier's character to retrieve his wealth. While contemplating all this, you may want to avert your eyes during some of the "dental" scenes involving Hoffman and Olivier. Yikes! I've seen it several times and uncover some new info each time.
