A good comedy but a romance and drama as well as we see the true story of Kamail who is a stand up comedian when he neets Emily a non Pakistani girl for whom he falls. As their relationship proceeds, we see Kamil's parents constantly fixing him up with Pakistani women. When Emily becomes seriously ill, her parents arrive from North Carolina. Their initial interactions are difficult, but he starts to grow on them. Lots of good laughs but also a few tears. The story drags just a little but at 2 hours, it is not over the top.

Loved this movie I would make it 4 tears .. and 5 laughs! The chicago scenes are great. Both sets of parents are hysterical!! Holly Hunter and Ray Romano were pitch perfect together. I keep meaning to see if there really is aYoutube video of his terrible audition. My favorite scene is when he tries to show his " devotion " and he includes the 3 ticket stubs when he went out with her parents. Enjoy!
