Dads can go with the family. In fact a great family flick! Quvenzhané Wallis is fabulous. The young star nominated for an Oscar for "Beasts of the Southern Wild" acts, sings and dances very, very well. My friend and I had a hard time not dancing along and singing along with this marvelous film. The children who were there loved it, but I think I liked it more. The comedy was clever and some of it might have gone over the heads of children. This is a fine PG film for families. In this version Jamie Foxx is a hard driven CEO of a cell phone company assisted by Grace and Guy(who has been hired to get him elected Mayor of New York City). Annie and four other girls live as foster children with mean Cameron Diaz's character. When Will Stacks(Foxx's character) saves Annie from being hit by a van, he ends up taking her in as a campaign ploy. His apartment in the sky is fabulous even if you do not love modern design! Charming movie. Loved every minute of it!
