Chief Chick Comments
A favorite Spencer/Hepburn ahead of its time. Women's Lib was not invented in the 1960's! Hepburn, a lawyer married to a lawyer (Tracy) is the ultimate feminist while still being a bit of a flirt. Tracy cannot handle this when they end up against each other in a New York courtroom. The case features a wife played beautifully by Judy Holliday who has shot her cheating husband. What if the shoe were on the other foot? The script by Ruth Gordon and Garsin Kanin is a delight. I have seen it at least 6 times.
