Jim Broadbent is always a delight and seems well matched with Lindsay Duncan who plays Nick's wife, Meg. She is looking for change and excitement in her life. Nick is not sure and terribly afraid she will leave him and other tragedies will befall them. Never-the-less, they both throw caution to the wind seemingly falling in and out of love with each other thoughout their weekend in Paris. Jeff Goldblum plays a friend of Nick's from their days at Cambridge. He runs into Nick kissing Meg passionately on a street in Paris and invites them to his swanky new apartment with his swanky new pregnant wife. Interesting movie. Not all tied up in a bow, but enjoyable. Always love seeing Paris!
