I was surprised how much I liked this movie. Yes, it is an animated flick. Yes, it is for kids. But it was delightfully entertaining and family-friendly. In some ways the sub-plots with the characters from history, e.g. Leonardo da Vinci and Agamemnon from the Illiad, were more interesting for me. Plus, as a dad, I enjoyed the father-son scenes.
