Close call on whether to "take a date". There is the war and some on shore hijinks so maybe, but basically this is a comedy romance starring my favorite, Cary Grant. I just love anything he is in. Jayne Mansfield makes a good showing as well as Suzy Parker, a classy gal who catches Andy's eye(Cary Grant). Worth renting!
