This movie is full of marvelous detail-the interiors, the costumes, the music. It is hard to imagine how wicked the main players are until you see the results of their "games". The casting of John Malkovich as the main seducer seems odd until you see the movie. He is very, very believable in his wicked ways. Vicomte Sébastien de Valmont seduces Madame de Tourvel at the urging of Marquise Isabell in this dangerous romantic movie
