My expectations were not met by this animated film. The lesson supposedly taught to children by the story was ham-handed, I thought. Coraline has moved with her very busy parents into an old scary house on a hill. As they have no time for her, she sets out herself and eventually finds a secret passageway to a bizarre duplicate world where her "other" parents seem, at first, to be much nicer. Really boring and not cute or attractive from my point of view. I don't think young children will love it; and it does have some scary scenes.
