From Tim Burton and the Weinstein Companies, with Golden Globe Winner Amy Adams and Oscar winner Christoph Waltz…Big Eyes is the story of Margaret Keane who is still alive and painting. After leaving her first husband with her young daughter in tow, Margaret an inspired painter meets Keane who eventually marries her and takes credit for her paintings (circa 1958-1963) while building an empire of reprints, posters, postcards etc. Margaret is bullied into painting but denying she can paint until she reaches the breaking point. Amy Adams won a Golden Globe for her portrayal of Margaret.
