I almost rated this a "Girls Only" but I think men who loved College and may have fallen in love in those years may like it as well. Andy Garcia(George) plays an up tight heart surgeon who has brought his son, Conrad, to see Middleton. Vera Farmiga(Edith) is a free spirit mother with her daughter, Audrey, who is determined to go to Middleton because of a special Professor who is at Middleton. Both children are a bit embarassed by their parents. Ultimately, George and Edith embark on their own private tour of Middleton which includes a climb to the top of the Bell Tower and acting in a Drama class. By this time, George and loosened up and both adults see what is missing from their lives. I enjoyed this movie. While not a masterpiece, it is pleasant with some meaningful thoughts about what middle age can bring and what one can experience. Filmed in Spokane Washington including many scenes at Gonzaga University, it is a lovely campus. I definitely want to go back to school! Open in only a few cities but available On Demand.
