Gregory Peck, an academic, is drawn into the world of international intrigue and meets Sophia Loren in the process who is the "kept woman" of a powerful middle eastern boss. Peck is always charming and Loren beautiful. While this movie is not their best known effort, it is well written and acted. The fashion fabulous. I love the scene in which we see an array of the fashionable shoes of Loren's character. As a woman I was salivating. While sometimes Peck seems to be playing himself…it works. I have seen it several times and, no doubt, will watch it again.
