Chief Chick Comments

While the story is stilted, it is never-the-less a lovely story about John Forsythe (Danny a Sargeant in the Army) falling for Joan (who actually is the US Ambassador's daughter). Danny's friend played by Tommy Noonan is held incommunicado in the Embassy while Joan determines whether an average GI is a gentleman and worthy of leave for all the Army personnel in Paris. Edward Arnold and Myrna Loy play a Senator and his wife who are visiting. If you are of a certain age, I think you will like it.
